‚Äč3Key Consulting is looking for a Sr Associate Business Analyst for a leading, international pharmaceutical company headquartered in Thousand Oaks, CA
Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project oriented work efforts. Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies for various projects including the Academic Interface Strategic Innovation Focus Area (SIFA) to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards, and meet customer expectations. Responsible for assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, and escalating workstream timeline issues appropriately. Responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of the Academic Interface SIFA and other projects. Coordinates communication and activities with external functions that impact the scope, budget, risk, resources, and successful implementation of the work effort being managed. Must possess advanced knowledge and proficiency in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and efficient communication through PowerPoint slide decks. This is an individual contributor role without human resource management responsibilities (e.g., hiring, performance management).

1. Previous project management experience (2-3 years)

3. SharePoint/database creation and management
• Building and maintenance of a team SharePoint site • Estimation of timelines, tracking of deliverables, managing and tracking budget, coordinating and rolling up work across various project workstreams • Management of information gathering, database maintenance, and information tracking of centralized academic commitments across various workstreams • Maintenance and creation of projected communications to external functions via PowerPoint slides
WHY THIS POSITION IS OPEN: There is a large scale project our team is currently working on with many different work streams. This position is open because the team lead will need assistance moving the process along as the project begins to require more workload.
EMPLOYEE VALUE PROPOSITION: If you are interested in biotech field you will gain a significant network and knowledge base here at Amgen- this is a project with very concrete deliverables so this role will be able to see through a project from beginning to end and will have the chance to implement all the different segments of the project over time. This project also heavily focuses on Amgen's external relationship with academic institutions. It also includes regular read outs to Sr leadership so by helping with this process they be able to experience presentations to Amgen leadership. Lastly, this 1 project wont be 100% of their time so they will be able to assist other managers with projects that meet their interests.
