Position Overview:
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Information Technology, the Associate End-Point Administrator will be an integral member of their IT department at their Corporate Support Center in Calabasas, CA. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and support, servicing all aspects of their Systems Infrastructure service availability for Restaurants and Corporate locations. You will work with IT staff and vendors to resolve technical problems and act as a Level-2 support escalation for the Service Desk team.
The Associate End-Point Administrator will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation/ configuration, operation and maintenance of network systems hardware, software and related infrastructure. You will ensure that network system infrastructure, operating systems, software systems, are operational, secure with appropriate currency management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide support for IT Network and Systems Infrastructure including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for Restaurants and Corporate sites.
  • Leverage automation techniques/technologies to support reoccurring patch management and compliance to include all scheduling, coordination and patching of all workstations and servers, including maintaining required software currency for network infrastructure devices as required.
  • The position will be responsible for working with the IT Security Team for network & system security matters to ensure corporate assets and information are protected from external threats. This includes managing the enterprise anti-virus system including responding to alerts and remediating and or containing any outbreak conditions.
  • Under guidance of the IT security management, will be responsible for supporting all required activities in support of annual security assessments and PCI compliance audits. This includes routine patching, resetting service accounts, performing scans, reviewing logs, running reports and maintaining effective documentation as required to align with compliance and security requirements.
  • Use monitoring tool (e.g. SolarWinds) to oversee and review daily status reports to drive maximum service uptime.
  • Ensure monitoring reports are accurately reflecting active devices, while making adjustments in the system as needed to reflect correct information on a consistent basis.
  • Ensure appropriate IT teams and/or vendors are engaged with the correct escalations.
  • At least 3 years of experience supporting Microsoft Windows desktop and server environments including physical, virtual and cloud hosted platforms.
  • At least 3 years of experience troubleshooting fundamental network concepts using TCP/IP, Network Subnets, VLANS, with solid understanding of the 7 Layer OSI model.
  • In-depth knowledge of fundamental knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS & Printing services.
  • Excellent communication skills required, with prior experiencing acting as a liaison between other departments, employees, management and vendors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology (related field) or equivalent work experience.
  • Microsoft Certification (MCSA, MCSD, MCSE), CA Plus, or Network Plus Certifications.
