3 Key Consulting is hiring a Specialist Business Analyst for a consulting engagement with our direct client, a leading global biopharmaceutical company.
 
Job Description:
The External Process Development group (XPD) develops the external sourcing strategy for process development (PD) organization and drives implementation of the strategy across the development portfolio. External Process Development is responsible for business analysis, development sourcing strategy and execution, resource and budget planning, and performance management for PD organization.  Responsibilities include:
  • Organization of team materials and documentation.
  • Assist with purchase order initiation, purchase order management, and invoice tracking, reconciliation, and resolution.
  • Assist with documentation of business templates, process workflows, and scope of work documents.
  • Development of supplier metrics, reporting, and performance monitoring for continuous improvement.
  • Meeting calendaring and management, meeting minutes, and action item follow-up.
  • Presentation of analyses and recommendations to Senior Management.

Top Must-Have Skill Sets:
Hard skills
  • Microsoft suite skills.
  • Business process mapping - (Visio, Microsoft Projects, Think-Cell, business flow, workshop skills/facilitation skills, visualization tools).
  • Procurement experience (MyBuy, SAP experience) / Invoice processing, purchase orders, invoice resolution / resolution management.
 
Soft Skills
  • Self-starter, multi-tasker.
  • Great oral and written communication skills.
  • Presentation skills.
 
 
Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Organization of team materials and documentation

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science or equal.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Self-starter with a high-level of comfort with ambiguity and complexity and the ability to multi-task while consistently delivering quality results.
  • Experience as team member of cross-functional and matrixed teams including effective writing, presentation, organizational and interpersonal skills to address a broad scope of audiences.
  • Proven business acumen, high level strategic thinking, and strong analytical skills with the ability to structure, pragmatically scope, and solve complex problems.
  • Demonstrated quantitative skills including experience in business process development, continuous improvement, operational excellence and performance management.
  • Strong understanding of cGMP, Regulatory/CMC, legal, Quality requirements and import/export policies.
  • Demonstrated understanding of drug development and commercialization for synthetic and/or biologic therapeutics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
