3 Key Consulting is hiring an EHSS Industrial Hygienist Specialist for a consulting engagement with our direct client, a leading global biopharmaceutical company.
 
Job Description: 

The Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHSS) Manager will drive world class EHSS performance across the site in a diverse biotech/pharma environment. The role will be responsible for the execution of key EHSS processes including:
  • Continuous improvement of industrial hygiene (IH) and ergonomics across site
  • Trending and analysis of EHSS information and provide data intelligence and actions
  • Provide IH and ergonomic support for new facilities and projects as part of EHSS Design Review
  • Provide subject matter expertise for several EHSS programs including IH and ergonomics
     
Primary responsibilities include:
  • Establish and execute risk assessment plans to ensure risks are proactively addressed and controls are implemented
  • Analyze metrics and establish annual action plans to drive continuous improvement
  • Monitor incident trends and assist in conducting incident investigations
  • Ensure hazards are identified and risks are proactively assessed
  • Ensure changes with potential safety impact are assessed and controls are established prior to implementation
  • Partner with clients to advance safety culture and manage EHSS risks
  • Conduct regular inspections of work areas
     
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in supporting industrial programs with focus on biological safety
  • Safety experience in research environments
  • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
  • Strong understanding of chemical and biological manufacturing and laboratory operations
  • Knowledgeable in office, industrial and laboratory ergonomics
  • Experience implementing and supporting industrial hygiene and ergonomic programs
  • Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and influence management
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, action oriented, self-starting, program development and project management
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software systems
