3 Key Consulting is hiring an Associate Data Analyst for a consulting engagement with our direct client, a leading global bio-pharmaceutical company.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate enjoys tackling challenges and excels at organizing information from numerous sources to provide well-constructed deliverables.

Responsibilities include:
  • Systematically gather and organize biochemical data to support ongoing efforts in machine learning
  • Consult with subject matter experts to understand data of interest, so you can recognize and communicate inconsistencies
  • Work in a collaborative team at the intersection of multiple departments including Therapeutic Discovery, Process Development, and Data Science

Education:
• Bachelor's degree OR Associate degree and 4 years of Scientific experience OR High School Diploma/GED and 6 years of Scientific experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Major in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field.
  • Knowledge of protein biochemistry, molecular biology, and current literature
  • Basic laboratory skills including protein production, purification, and analytical assessment
  • Experience with analytical techniques including SEC, CE, and Protein Mass Spectrometry
  • Experience in reviewing and interpreting analytical data
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal skills
  • Knowledge of basic office software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Basic data science skills including familiarity with coding in Python or R
  • Attention to detail
     
Top Must have Skill Sets:
  • Knowledge of protein biochemistry or molecular biology
  • Experience in reviewing and interpreting analytical data
  • Experience with analytical techniques such as SEC, CE, or Protein Mass Spectrometry

Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Systematically gather and organize biochemical data into a machine readable master data sheet
  • Consult with subject matter experts to understand data of interest, so you can recognize, communicate, and correct inconsistencies
Red Flags:
Before making a final decision, manager wants letters of recommendation. But letters aren't required for the interviews.
