Job Summary:
The ideal candidate enjoys tackling challenges and excels at organizing information from numerous sources to provide well-constructed deliverables.
Responsibilities include:
- Systematically gather and organize biochemical data to support ongoing efforts in machine learning
- Consult with subject matter experts to understand data of interest, so you can recognize and communicate inconsistencies
- Work in a collaborative team at the intersection of multiple departments including Therapeutic Discovery, Process Development, and Data Science
Education:
• Bachelor's degree OR Associate degree and 4 years of Scientific experience OR High School Diploma/GED and 6 years of Scientific experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Major in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field.
- Knowledge of protein biochemistry, molecular biology, and current literature
- Basic laboratory skills including protein production, purification, and analytical assessment
- Experience with analytical techniques including SEC, CE, and Protein Mass Spectrometry
- Experience in reviewing and interpreting analytical data
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal skills
- Knowledge of basic office software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Basic data science skills including familiarity with coding in Python or R
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of protein biochemistry or molecular biology
- Experience in reviewing and interpreting analytical data
- Experience with analytical techniques such as SEC, CE, or Protein Mass Spectrometry
