3 Key Consulting is hiring a Project Manager for a consulting engagement with our direct client, a leading global biopharmaceutical company.
Job Description: Client is seeking an enthusiastic and results-oriented Project Manager to lead various workstreams supporting R&D Lab Operations with laboratory space planning of their Research facilities, continuous improvement, and onsite laboratory support for lab transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will coordinate cross-functional team projects, operations improvement initiatives, and relationship management of third-party service providers / partners and other client stakeholders. Top Must-Have Skill Sets:
Must have experience managing multi-workstream projects simultaneously while maintaining a focus on quality.
Good project management skills, meeting facilitation, negotiation, planning, communication and organizational change management skills.
Intermediate to expert level experience with MS Office 365 suite (e.g. Teams, OneNote, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Smartsheet and Box.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Coordinate large and small projects for the site relocation including lab and staff relocation activities, change management and general project management.
Partner with functional subject matter experts and key stakeholders to define project deliverables, key milestones, project timelines, accomplishments and track actions, next steps and key decisions.
Strong communications and partnership with Research leadership and Continuous Improvement leads
Liaise with internal cross functional teams, service providers and other client stakeholders to identify, strategize and implement initiatives.
Work with staff and leadership to identify, implement and track continuous improvement opportunities.
Establish and manage fit for purpose project tracking and reporting mechanisms (SharePoint, SmartSheet dashboards and project management tools, etc.)
Baseline opportunities and communication of results, measure improvements.
Red Flags: No previous experience in Biotech/Life Sciences industry. No previous experience in project management. Unable to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Not looking for applicants with degrees higher than Masters. Not looking for IS/IT project managers. This is a hybrid position where candidate must be able to access the ATO campus as necessary.
