3 Key Consulting is recruiting an Associate Engineer for a consulting engagement with our direct client, a leading global biotechnology company.
Job Description: This role is more of a documentation, admin, shipping, ordering, inventory, collecting materials, organizational, lab, and with technical aspects.
The Human Factors / Usability Engineering technician is responsible for supporting activities related to human factors. This person will work with company’s New Product Introduction (NPI), packaging and labeling teams, as well as internal Human Factors Engineering (HFE) colleagues to create study stimuli, perform data verification and support other human factors activity as necessary. Study stimuli typically includes carton and carton labeling, delivery device and device labeling, as well as user instructional materials. This person will work with HFE and engineering leads to ensure these materials are created and sent to study sites in a timely manner. Following completion of a study, this person will receive the used and/or new materials and disposition for disposal or archiving, as needed. Additional responsibilities will be to maintain the Human Factors lab and all support materials and technology for the Human Factors group.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor degree OR Associate degree and 4 years of experience

Experience supporting research activities such as planning and coordinating materials, organization, archiving
Effective communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and vendors
Attention to detail
More of a documentation, admin, shipping, inventory, collecting materials, organizational, and lab role, with technical aspects.
Experience with C-Docs
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Work with the instructional design team and HFE team to create paper prototypes, such as carton labels, device labels and user instructions.
Working across the HFE team to support multiple usability study stimuli development.
Coordinating with HF vendors to send and retrieve stimuli.
Support usability lab activities such as inventorying materials and stimuli.
Work with internal teams to safely and correctly dispose of stimuli that might contain drug, needles, or intellectual property.
Review data and documentation for accuracy
