3 Key Consulting is hiring an SCRUM Master for a consulting engagement with our direct client, a leading global biopharmaceutical company.
 
Job Description:
  • Experience with Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with client planning platforms like Amazon Web Services, Salesforce, MuleSoft, Databricks, etc.
  • Skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, and conflict resolution.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Prioritize and lead large and small projects using Agile methodologies, including Scrum Master responsibilities.
  • Lead the team through user-story creation, backlog grooming, story estimation, Sprint execution, Sprint retrospectives, and all other aspects of running an Agile project.
  • Coordinate and facilitate scrum team ceremonies including daily stand-ups, backlog grooming sessions, sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Provide mentoring on scrum methodology processes to ensure the team continues to evolve into a self-managing high performing team.
  • Accountable for the health of the team and drive for continuous improvement.
  • Helps the team break down requests into manageable stories and facilitates discussions on assigning story points.
  • Report and monitor progress of team activity during sprints to ensure sprint goals and objectives are met.
  • Lead, resolve or call out impediments as raised by individual team members and track team velocity.
  • Represent the team during scrum meetings to ensure minimal distraction from outside influences while monitoring progress of external dependencies.
  • Partner with product owners to align expectations with effort required from engineers across all user stories in each sprint.
  • Where appropriate, participate in discussions and provide technical mentorship or facilitates and raises discussion to relevant technology teams.
  • Schedule and facilitate product release planning activities including, where appropriate, approvals and communications.
  • Maintain sprint documentation, monitoring and reporting within the approved platform such as Jira.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience with Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence
  • Familiarity with client planning platforms like Amazon Web Services, Salesforce, MuleSoft, Databricks, etc.
  • Skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, and conflict resolution.
  • Proficiency in leading teams developing IS solutions using Agile/Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
  • Experience conducting backlog grooming, burndown metrics, velocity, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, and scrum meetings.
  • Experience working with end-users to write and prioritize requirements represented as user-stories.
  • Experience preparing project reviews and providing executive-level project summaries.
  • Good technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good project management, meeting facilitation, negotiation, planning, and organizational change management skills.
  • Able to manage activities across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Results oriented with strong consistency to meeting delivery timelines.
  • Great teammate who can collaborate and provide leadership through influence to achieve the required results.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to set the context and present on complex subjects in clear and concise manner.
  • High learning agility, innovation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to master new technologies and processes with minimal support.
