3 Key Consulting is hiring a Project Manager - Capacity management for a consulting engagement with our direct client, a leading global bio-pharmaceutical company.
Reporting to the Data Strategy Lead in the Strategic Planning & Operations group within Final Product Technologies (FPT) organization, the Project Manager will work within a cross-functional organization to help define and drive full adoption of Electronic Lab Notebook, Enterprise Data Lake and other key Information Systems that support Core Engineering and Product/Process Development in FPT.
The PM is responsible for overall coordination and status reporting of project-oriented work efforts.
Implements project management processes for FPT Digital projects portfolio to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet end-user needs.
Is able to scope out project needs based on input from user groups and/or stakeholders. Responsible for assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately.
Responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers.
Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impact the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort being managed.
Assists the Digital Strategy Lead in identifying and prioritizing opportunities for utilizing Digital Technologies to achieve the goals of FPT, as well as ensuring change management for successful long-term adoption of digital tools and processes by the business users.
Must possess advanced knowledge and proficiency in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques.
Manage Digitalization Projects intake and evaluation
Undertake detailed project scoping, planning, coordination and status reporting for projects assigned
Coordinate project knowledge and communication management via MS Teams collaboration hub
Organize, conduct and document minutes for project and ad-hoc meetings to track and progress project schedules
Track Project Risks, Issues, Actions and Deliverables (RAID)
Develop, track and update program/project dashboards
Coordinate required Steering/Monitoring Reviews and develop necessary summary presentations for Management
Track key milestones and escalate functional/ quality/ timeline issues appropriately
Help set standard work units, analyze trends, and improve estimates.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of project management experience within engineering/scientific industries OR Associate's degree and 4 years of project management experience
Demonstrated project management skills
PMP certification is a plus
Digital PM L3 EW
Excellent interpersonal skills including listening, written and verbal communication, with ability to clearly and professionally communicate with employees and leadership at all levels of the organization
Expert knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office & Project management tools (Microsoft Teams, Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Smartsheet, Planisware, etc.).
Experience of 2 or more years in a Project Management Office highly desirable
Knowledge of biopharma and medical device processes desirable
Ability to work in highly collaborative, cross-functional environments
Update resource capacity tool per workload decisions (new programs, accelerated programs, etc.)
Attend resource planning meetings
No experience with capacity management
