3 Key Consulting is hiring a Business Analyst Senior Associate for a consulting engagement with our direct client, a leading global biopharmaceutical company.
Job Description: This role functions as a liaison between functional business units and the IS organization. Successful candidates must possess skills to clearly capture and articulate the client's processes, partner with the client to identify process improvement, and translate strategies into information solutions. Role varies between client focused and application focused. Key Skills: experience on a project team, knowledge of any basic Life Sciences laboratory testing and development, and Spotfire expertise
Client is searching for a senior associate-level analyst to function as a member of a drug product process development team. This role will be based at their Cambridge, MA site or full remote work. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development and deployment of information system (IS) technologies for drug product process development laboratory workflows. Such technologies include:
Primary Sources: Electronic lab notebook (ELN) software and as needed other internal systems
Reporting: Enterprise Data Lake, Spotfire, Redshift, Databricks, Sharepoint
Coding: R, Python, Excel VBA
In this role, the successful candidate:
Develops, validates, deploys, and maintains automated laboratory workflow and business reporting solutions built using and client’s Data Lake and Spotfire as well as other tools.
Prepares and maintains training materials to support use of developed reporting solutions.
Supports troubleshooting and resolution of issues associated with Spotfire solutions delivered.
This role provides development opportunities in the following areas:
Exposure to scientific, laboratory, and business workflows at an industry leading pharmaceutical company – developing understanding of data generation and management for multiple modality (large molecules, small molecules, etc.) manufacturing process development.
Data integration development – establishing flow and visualization of laboratory data used to enable production of biopharmaceutical products.
Dynamic, matrixed organization and collaboration – interfacing with a broad array of partners on a routine basis, providing visibility to those other areas of the business and how these functions work together to meet organizational goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
Skilled in the use of Spotfire.
Skilled use of R, Python, Excel VBA, and other data analysis languages and packages.
Experience with big data technology such as Amazon Cloud Services, Datalakes, etc. and automation of data flows.
Experience with data wrangling of large and complex datasets.
Strong capability with Excel, experience with SharePoint.
Skilled and/or knowledgeable in the use of standard life sciences laboratory equipment with one or more major laboratory instruments / techniques, such as HPLC.
Experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory environment and with rigorous documentation of experimental protocols and results.
Experience with GMP business processes, e.g., IQ/OQ/Validation.
Experience with electronic laboratory notebook, such as Biovia Workbook, laboratory instrument software such as Empower or Chromeleon, and related software such as Pipeline Pilot.
Highly proficient in presentation skills including the ability to draft and deliver training documents.
Demonstrated ability to train others in the use of laboratory or other software.
Experience in a role that requires influencing cross functional groups to achieve results.
Experience with product life-cycle management software such as Oracle Agile.
